 | Following are some of the system features used in ECC plant operations:
|
 | Block Modelling and Quarry Scheduling Optimization. |
 | QSO (Quarry Scheduling Optimization) Expert is an interactive, graphic-oriented program for materials blending, production scheduling and quarry planning tasks. A block model is a complete three-dimensional description of a deposit. When computing the model, the deposit is divided into a large number of small blocks, each representing a certain mine able quantity. From boreholes and other exploration data, grades and other values are assigned by interpolation to each block. The resultant block model is an exact inventory of the deposit, which describes the quantity and quality of material to be expected for each block.

 | Feature - Gamma Metrics CBA. |
 | Gamma Metrics Cross Belt Analyzer (CBA) It conducts online analysis of pre-mix of crushed limestone and clay flowing from the crusher to the circular continuous stockpile and updates data every minute. It also monitors the composition of crushed limestone flowing to a corrective limestone pile and controls the chemistry of the raw material mixture fed to the circular stockpile by regulating the proportion of the crushed limestone and clay.

 | Feature - POLAB AMT (Laboratory Automation System) |
 | AMT stands for Advanced Module Technology which is the latest-generation laboratory automation system in the cement industry. It provides optimized modules that are all within the reach of the system’s robot. It integrates all sample preparation and sample analysis facilities on a floor area of only 7.5m2 The main sampling points are: - Raw meal downstream of the raw mill
- Kiln feed
- Hot meal
- Clinker
- Cement from cement mills
- Samples that are manually input into the system
The material samples are taken from the production process by automatic sampling system, transported to the homogenizing and dispatch station at the production line and then sent by pneumatic tube system to the laboratory. The material is prepared and analyzed by the POLAB AMT system; the analysis results are transferred to the POLAB laboratory computer, which is linked to the plant control system and intervenes in the process through diverse controllers. |
 | Feature – Automation Control System – Advent OCS. |
 | Advent OCS covers a line of products that integrates all manufacturing processes in a single database platform. System engineers obtain real-time insights into every aspect of production and can reach all parts of the plant from the screens in front of them. All plant personnel, thus enhancing their capability and responsibility, can easily survey the graphic presentation of data. |
